If you are new to the online marketing business world, you need to have a professional blog. A blog is like your home office. You can get great SEO if you know how to set it up right.

I will not go into details about setting up a blog in this post. I just wanted to inform you of some good plug-ins to use.

The first one is All in One SEO Pack. If you want great SEO then you need this plug-in.

The second one is Disqus Comment System. It replaces WordPresss system. Here is how it works. You post on Facebook that you just updated your blog. Someone clicks on it. When they post a comment on your blog, it is posted on their Facebook page, as well. If they came from Twitter the comment system works the same.

Can you see how powerful that is? People will see their comments and go check out your blog for themselves. That gets you more traffic to your site, and it is a good way to get self-syndication.

The next plug-in is WP Greet Box. It is only a box at the top of your blog that greets people depending where they came from. It may say dont forget to follow me on Twitter, or make sure you sign up for my RSS feed. This is another good way to get self-syndication, too. Visitors will leave one site and go to another following you.

The last one, but it really is NOT the least, is WordPress Database Backup. Dont make the same mistake I made. I lost everything that was on my site, because I did not back it up. I thought my hosting company would have kept a backup, but I was wrong. So learn from my mistake and backup your material.
