First you have to open a new browser window and go to your wordpress admin login. If you do not know the login page, open your blog, scroll down the right side until find the link that says Log In, and click the link. Login into your site admin dashboard. On the left side near the bottom click on tools.

When the drop down box for Tools opens click on Delete Site. The Delete Blog page will open. You will see “Please read carefully. You are trying to permanently delete this blog.” highlighted in yellow. You need to read all of the warning and instructions asking if you are sure you want to delete your blog. Along with the warnings, you are also informed of exactly what happens to your account and email address.

Once you read the warnings, if you are sure you want to delete your free wordpress blog check the box. Leave a comment if you want. Last but not least click on the Delete my Blog Permanently.

Now there is a message in the window that tells you to complete the process you need to go check your email for a link to permanently delete your blog. Go login into your email account. Look for an email from wordpress that has you name and Delete My Blog in the subject line. Open the email from wordpress. The email will ask you again if you sure you want completely delete your blog.

If you are sure you wan to delete your blog, click the link provided to delete your blog. One more warning box will open up once again making sure you want to delete your blog. Click Yes and your blog will be deleted permanently.

You will be taken back to your admin page of your blog. There will be a message thanking you for using wordpress. Click on Log Out in the upper right corner of the admin page. Your will receive a message on the screen tell you the author has deleted the blog and the content is no longer available.
