How To Backup And Restore A WordPress Blog

In this video, I’ll show you how to backup (which should be done regularly, in any case, so that you don’t risk losing all of your hard work) a WordPress (hosted) blog and move it to another domain/ server (host).

All of the plugins, etc. mentioned in the video can be found at:

http://tr.im/WP_Move

along with the video itself.

This is the first in a new series of videos I’ll be doing about WordPress just like the ones already on my channel. I had recently received a comment from a viewer who was confused about how different the WordPress admin looked. The viewer is absolutely right, the admin has changed tremendously since I originally made the videos.

I’ll be making the whole series, from the beginning to end of setting up a new blog, within the next few weeks while I’m actually setting up a new blog that I’m going to be launching.

Meanwhile, all of the WordPress videos (as well as other videos I make that are relevant) will be available, in the order they are created (and in the order of the steps to launching a new WP blog) will be available, with any links mentioned, at:
